What is Link?
Research within LInK focuses on the creation and dissemination of knowledge within and outside organisations. The Centre brings together researchers from DCU (The Business School, The School of Education Studies, Oscail and The Business and Innovation Theme), University College Cork, The National College of Ireland and The Royal College of Surgeons to work on a variety of national and international projects that include management education and development, leadership, commercialisation, distance learning, professional careers and work-life balance. Projects are funded from a variety of sources including the Health Research Board, IRCHSS, and the Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions. Postgraduate research students attached to the Centre are engaged in research that ranges from workaholism to knowledge and diversity management and creativity. LInK’s research is affiliated to the Business and Innovation theme and internationalisation, Interculturalism and Social Development theme both through research projects and research studentships.
